Area 13 Electric Bikes

Area 13 Electric Bikes is a Grass Valley electric-ride shop with a broad catalog that extends from cargo e-bikes to scooter products. Its online catalog spans brands such as Aventon, Segway, Velotric and Eunorau across cargo, commuter, fat-tire, folding, mountain and trike models, plus a scooter category, and the shop supports online orders for parts such as motors and controllers.

Owner Kyle Chittock produces e-bike test and dyno content, and the business runs a monthly flash sale on the 13th. Customers can browse the floor, ask detailed questions about fit and use, and take test rides; one patron stayed after closing for a ride. Staff members such as Blake field parts questions and help match bikes to budgets.

The catalog also lists electric skateboards and refurbished models. The storefront sits in downtown Grass Valley. Hours run Monday through Saturday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with the shop closed Sundays. For visitors bringing their own bike or renting locally, checking equipment availability and any booking requirements before arrival can prevent surprises.
