About Berkshire Bike and Board
The Great Barrington branch of Berkshire Bike and Board brings e-bike retail, rentals, and servicing to southern Berkshire County. The shop provides one year of free tune-ups with new bikes, interest-free financing, and bike fitting, as well as clothing and accessories. E-bikes feature in the lineup, and ski tuning and leasing cover the winter months.
Visitor accounts describe a busy shop where rentals are fitted carefully: one couple rented BMC gravel bikes with help from Matt and Raine, including installation of personal pedals, while another writer had new tubes installed in about half an hour. Nic P is named for attentive bike fitting work, and mechanics drew mention for diagnosing a long-standing rear hub problem that other shops had missed, explaining each step and charging a fair price.
Listed hours are Tuesday through Friday 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Saturday 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and Sunday 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, closed Monday.
