Bicycle World

Bicycle World has been part of downtown Goldsboro since 1987, selling and servicing bicycles from its North Center Street store. Trek and Giant models feature in its inventory, including Trek electric-assist bicycles. The shop also carries helmets and riding accessories, while an adjoining outdoor retail section offers apparel and footwear for customers pursuing other activities.

The workshop assembles, tunes, and repairs bikes and has offered scheduled follow-up tune-ups after new purchases. Owner Mike Wiggins and the staff help riders with fit, bike selection, and ongoing maintenance. Bicycle World also serves as a gathering place for Seyboro Cyclers, a local group that begins and ends rides at the store. Through community efforts such as Kriquette’s Kidz, the business has helped get bicycles to children and families.

The storefront sits within walking distance of downtown parking and restaurants, making it a convenient stop for local rides. Electric-bike shoppers can ask about Trek’s pedal-assist range and ordinary mechanical support, but motor-system repair options should be verified separately. The business’s strengths are established bicycle retail, service, and participation in Goldsboro’s cycling community.
