Bike Tech

Bike Tech has served Cedar Falls cyclists since 1996, combining a general bicycle repair department with electric-bicycle sales and rentals. The Washington Street shop is listed as an Aventon dealer and offers a selection of pedal-assist models, giving Cedar Valley riders a local place to compare electric options before purchasing.

Its workshop reputation rests on practical mechanical assistance, including tire repairs, gear adjustments and careful fault diagnosis. Customer accounts mention James and Brent by name and describe mechanics who explain how to keep a bicycle running well. One person who usually performs their own repairs said Bike Tech was the shop they trusted for work beyond their experience. Another appreciated help with wheels on a double stroller, illustrating a willingness to solve smaller repair problems.

The source lists the address as 217 Washington Street and supplies (319) 266-5979 as the phone number. The recorded schedule covers Tuesday through Saturday, with Sunday and Monday closed. For e-bike owners, the documented strengths are Aventon retail stock, rental options and a functioning bike workshop; compatibility with other electrical drive systems should be checked separately.
