Bikes Blades & Boards

Bikes Blades & Boards has operated in Grosse Pointe Park since 1993, selling conventional and electric bicycles, riding gear, and skate-related products. The Mack Avenue shop carries brands including Specialized, Giant, Cannondale, Batch, Aventon, and Detroit Bikes.

Its selection puts established national bicycle brands alongside the local identity of Detroit Bikes. Electric-bike customers can explore models such as those from Aventon, while conventional cyclists have a range of other choices. Test rides and help comparing equipment are part of the shopping experience described.

The store also runs a repair department for tune-ups, adjustments, and e-bike work. Rick is mentioned in customer accounts of helpful service, and the parts selection supports people maintaining their own bikes. Skateboard decks, wheels, and protective equipment broaden the business beyond cycling alone.

For Grosse Pointe Park riders, Bikes Blades & Boards combines an established neighborhood presence with bicycle sales, workshop support, and products for skating. Its long history on Mack Avenue is part of its character; the source does not establish dedicated scooter repairs.
