Capitol Cyclery - Essen Lane

Capitol Cyclery's Essen Lane shop is a south Baton Rouge location for bicycles, cycling accessories, and service. The Louisiana company traces its history to 1971, and its selection includes road, mountain, hybrid, comfort, BMX, children's, and electric bikes. Trek, Electra, Raleigh, and Redline are among the names associated with the retailer's range.

The Essen Lane branch has a parts-and-accessories section and provides assembly, repair, fitting, and general maintenance for bicycles sold through the business. Electric bicycles are central to its retail and repair offering, so motor-scooter and stand-up scooter owners should check whether their vehicles are accepted before visiting. Road and triathlon riders can also arrange precision bicycle fitting appointments at this location.

Helmets, apparel, and riding accessories round out the sales floor for customers preparing a new bike or replacing worn equipment. This is one of the company's local branches with Sunday opening hours, in addition to its Monday-through-Saturday schedule. Located at 5778 Essen Lane, it can be reached at 225-766-4004 for bike availability, fitting appointments, and workshop questions.
