Conte's Bike Shop - Virginia Beach

Conte's Bike Shop on Laskin Road brings decades of cycling history to Virginia Beach. The wider company began in Newport News in 1957, and this large branch offers a showroom and workshop for riders interested in road, mountain, children's, and electric bicycles.

Professional fitting, suspension work, tune-ups, and general repairs are part of its service offering. Shoppers can ask about trade-ins, try a bicycle before buying, and find riding gear or maintenance supplies alongside the bikes themselves. The store also organizes morning group rides, connecting its sales floor with local cycling rather than treating every visit as a transaction.

Customers often appreciate the relaxed purchasing experience and staff who help identify a suitable bike without pressure. One rider even described passing several other shops to visit this team, singling out Bonny, Robeiro, and the mechanics. There have also been concerns about individual tune-up results, so workshop experiences aren't identical. Conte's Virginia Beach combines a sizable product selection with fitting, service, and group-ride opportunities for cyclists who want support after choosing a bike.
