East Coast Bicycles

East Coast Bicycles has served Norfolk riders since 1998, operating as a family-owned shop on Colley Avenue. The store combines bicycle sales with mechanical service and fitting, supporting customers whose riding takes them through neighborhood streets, coastal routes, and local trails.

Brands such as Trek, Electra, Cannondale, and Giant appear in the selection, including electric-assist options. Mechanics handle everyday repairs and more involved service work, while custom fitting helps riders find a comfortable position. One customer described a broken spoke and wheel-truing job completed in less than an hour, and another appreciated smooth handling of a warranty frame replacement.

Skylar, Elijah, Tyler, and Mike have been mentioned for knowledgeable, patient help. Customers also recall advice about tricycles and the value of having someone explain how a bike should fit and operate. The shop functions as a local hub for road, gravel, and electric cycling, rather than focusing on one narrow discipline. For Norfolk residents, East Coast Bicycles offers a blend of experienced mechanical support and approachable guidance through new-bike decisions.
