Electric Bike Collective

Electric Bike Collective operates a repair-focused e-bike shop on Whittier Avenue in Costa Mesa, serving riders across Orange County. Alongside electric bicycle sales, its in-house service department handles tune-ups, replacement parts, and flat-tire repairs, including work on e-bikes that can be more involved than a standard bicycle fix.

One distinctive specialty is support for bikes made by the now-defunct Electric Bike Company. The shop works with remaining frames and components from that brand and helps owners locate difficult-to-find parts after factory support has ended. That gives it a particular role for riders trying to keep older electric bikes in service.

Customers describe knowledgeable, practical repair assistance, with staff member Paul singled out for his familiarity with the equipment. Some riders report traveling a considerable distance to use the shop. One account describes a diagnosis and repair completed the following day, although that is an individual experience rather than a guaranteed turnaround.

A customer has also mentioned a change of ownership, which merits separate confirmation. For Costa Mesa riders, the combination of a working repair bench and attention to hard-to-support e-bike models distinguishes Electric Bike Collective from a showroom focused mainly on sales.
