Electric Bike Outfitters

Electric Bike Outfitters gives cyclists a way to add electric assistance without giving up a bicycle they already know and enjoy. Based on West Barberry Place in Denver, the company has designed and manufactured conversion systems since 2015, offering front-hub, rear-hub, and mid-drive kits for standard bikes, recumbents, and trikes.

Its work extends beyond selling a boxed motor. Batteries, installation, repairs, and technical support are part of the business, with demonstrations and online manuals available to help riders understand the equipment. The systems have been used on demanding long-distance rides, including journeys covering thousands of miles.

Owner Jason has earned particular appreciation for explaining technical decisions patiently and handling repairs directly. Riders have described the kits as smooth and capable, with useful range, while some have found electric assistance especially valuable for continuing to cycle despite physical challenges.

Electric Bike Outfitters also participates in cycling industry events, bringing its conversion approach to a wider audience. For someone attached to a favorite bike—or using a less common frame such as a recumbent or trike—the shop offers an alternative to buying an entirely new electric bicycle.
