Future Velo

Future Velo in Carmel is dedicated to electric personal transportation, with pedal-assist bicycles and electric scooters available through the same shop. Located near the Monon Trail on West Carmel Drive, the business combines sales, rentals, and repairs in a setting where customers can spend time understanding how different electric vehicles feel.

Its brands have included Segway, Gazelle, Urban Arrow, Benno, Serfas, and X-LAB. Customers have described extended test rides and thoughtful fit adjustments rather than rushed transactions. Staff sometimes ride alongside shoppers, helping them compare handling, comfort, and assistance levels before choosing a model.

The repair department handles both e-bikes and electric scooters. Owner David Cabanban and Julian have been mentioned for fair explanations, quick tune-ups, and servicing bikes that customers purchased elsewhere or online. That willingness to work on outside purchases can be particularly helpful for owners who have no nearby support from the original seller.

Customers can try different electric vehicles and return with mechanical questions as their experience grows. Future Velo’s work on both e-bikes and electric scooters makes it particularly versatile along the Carmel corridor.
