Gorham Bike & Ski

Gorham Bike & Ski runs its Waterville store at 50 Concourse West as one of five Maine locations, alongside shops in Brunswick, Portland, Saco, and Wells. Founder Jamie Wright opened the business in Gorham in 1995, and longtime employee Dan Vaillancourt took over ownership after Wright's retirement. The Waterville shop sells bicycles, including electric-assist models, and skis, with Trek among the carried brands, and offers bike rentals, ski service, and a service bench for repairs and tuning.

customer feedback of the store describe a working repair shop: one visitor had an emergency wheel bearing replaced and was sent back out quickly, while another picked up a used demo gravel bike at a solid price after getting guidance as a newcomer to the discipline. Staff experiences vary in the customer feedback, with one visitor describing friendly, attentive help and another reporting an unhelpful exchange over glove sizing.

Parts availability draws a cautionary note, with one customer citing months-long supplier delays on a needed item. The shop keeps Monday-to-Friday hours of 10 to 6 and Saturday hours of 10 to 5, closing Sundays, and the phone number is 207-660-6761.
