About Hilo Bike Hub
Hilo Bike Hub has served Hilo from East Kawili Street since 1993, describing itself as the east side's bike shop for more than fifteen years and a repeated winner of the Tribune-Herald's annual bike shop vote. The full-service store carries Specialized, Cannondale and Trek lines and keeps an Electric Bicycles catalog with models like the Cannondale Neo Allroad EQ LST, Cannondale Moterra 4 and Tersoro Neo X 2, the Trek Powerfly FS4 Gen 2 and the Electra Townie Go!
7D. New bikes receive a pro-build assembly - waterproof lubrication of hubs, bottom bracket and bolts - plus pro-fitting, and the service area handles repairs, part upgrades on older frames and packing bikes for mainland shipping. Owner Chris Seymour, a former regional mountain bike racer, leads a team that includes Kaylin; first-class workmanship, friendly unhurried help and money well spent.
Hours are Monday and Wednesday 9 to 5, Tuesday and Thursday 10 to 5, and Friday 9 to 3.
