In The Elements Rental & Bike Repair

Lake Michigan visitors can arrange e-bike rentals, family cycling equipment, and conventional bicycle repairs through In The Elements in Saugatuck. The store rents conventional bicycles, pedal-assist e-bikes, cargo e-bikes with seating for children, tandem bikes, tag-along bikes and trailers, kayaks, paddleboards, and beach gear such as chairs, umbrellas, and inner tubes, with delivery available to Saugatuck, Douglas, Fennville, Laketown, and Holland.

Each bicycle rental goes out with a route map, helmet, and lock included, and staff point riders toward the Lakeshore Drive route along Lake Michigan, the trail toward Holland, or the Kalamazoo River for paddlers. The operation is also a Denago e-bike dealer, offering models such as the City 1 and the class-3 Commute 2 with test rides drawn from the rental fleet, a two-year rim-to-rim warranty, and a year of free tune-ups on new e-bikes.

Bike service is available for bikes that have sat unused for years. Inside the shop, a beach boutique stocks towels, snorkels, leisure wear, jewelry, and gifts. The store sits next door to Satya Yoga studio and is open daily from 9 AM to 6 PM.
