Loblolly Bike Shop

A short distance from Chattanooga's riverfront, Loblolly Bike Shop serves local cyclists and visitors from 191 River Street on the North Shore. Formerly operating as Pedego Chattanooga, the shop now offers conventional bicycles and electric models, with sales, servicing, and rental options. Its proximity to the Tennessee Riverwalk makes it a practical starting point for people who want to explore the waterfront without bringing a bike from home.

The business supports more than just selecting a bicycle from the sales floor. Riders can inquire about maintenance, parts, and accessories, while rental customers can experience the neighborhood's paths before considering a purchase. The combination gives first-time pedal-assist riders a chance to learn how an e-bike feels on a real route rather than relying entirely on product specifications.

Loblolly's published schedule includes Sunday afternoons, Wednesday and Thursday afternoons, and longer Friday and Saturday hours; customers should verify the schedule before traveling. Its website, loblollybikeshop.com, provides additional information on the electric-bike selection and available services. Call (423) 653-8987 for current rental and repair arrangements. The shop's specialty is pedal-assist bicycles, not gasoline-powered scooters.
