Maui Sunriders Bike Shop

Maui Sunriders Bike Shop has offered Maui bicycle rentals for years, with electric bicycles alongside road and mountain options. The Haleakala downhill tours are the signature experience, but the retail shop is where most riders meet the crew. E-bike renters describe a smooth process from booking to fitting, with patient answers to first-timer questions, and the shop's local knowledge extends to dining recommendations and ride routes.

The team also ships forgotten accessories home after trips, a small touch that sticks in people's memory. Staff members Jeffrey and Mikhail come up by name — Jeffrey for professional repairs that brought a problem bike back to top shape, Mikhail for driving out to Makena to fix a renter's flat on the roadside.

Hours are daily nine to five. For visiting customers who want to ride Maui under their own power, Sunriders is the long-running outfitter with the deepest fleet. For pedal-assist repairs, the drive system and bicycle brand can determine which workshop services are appropriate.
