McLain Cycle And Fitness

The Garfield Road shop formerly known as McLain Cycle And Fitness is associated with ERIK'S branding, retaining a local focus on bikes, fitness and electric cycling. Located on North Garfield Road, it serves Traverse City and the Grand Traverse area for both cycling and home fitness equipment.

Older McLain listings in Cadillac and on 8th Street show as permanently closed, but those are different branches and this Garfield Road location remains open. The store offers bicycles and electric bikes from major brands along with fitness equipment such as ellipticals, and its service department performs repairs and maintenance on bikes.

Staff are noted for efficient, quality repair work and clear communication with customers about service needs. Reported hours are Monday through Friday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., closed on Sundays. The shop lists its phone number as 231-941-8855. The Traverse City store is the Garfield Road branch now associated with ERIK'S, not the closed McLain locations elsewhere.
