Mid-South Medical & Mobility

Mid-South Medical & Mobility has served Memphis families since 1998, operating as a family-owned medical-equipment supplier on Old Summer Road. The business, also known as A&D Healthcare, carries powered mobility devices, including scooters and wheelchairs, alongside products such as knee scooters, ostomy supplies, and other home-care essentials. Its role extends beyond retail shelves to helping customers arrange equipment for use at home.

Home assessments allow the team to consider the setting in which a device will be used, while delivery services bring equipment directly to customers. Insurance and Medicare billing are part of the offering for qualifying products, reducing the amount of administrative work families must handle alone. Shannon, Melissa, and Paul are names associated with patient and empathetic assistance, including help securing a power chair for a family member.

Mid-South's years in the community give the business an established local identity within the medical-supply market. It serves people who need mobility equipment as part of daily life, not recreational scooters for leisure riding. By combining product access, home assessments, delivery, and insurance support, the company offers a practical resource for Memphis residents and caregivers navigating unfamiliar equipment decisions.
