Mike's Bikes - Palo Alto

Mike's Bikes on Middlefield Road serves Palo Alto cyclists with new bicycles, e-bikes, and workshop support for keeping a daily ride on the road. The branch also lists Levy electric-scooter products, broadening its electric transportation offering beyond conventional pedal-assist models.

Shoppers can compare e-bikes through test rides, ask staff about purchase options, and return to the store for maintenance or warranty-related work. Mechanics handle bicycle repairs and are known for explaining what needs attention and why. One rider whose bike was vandalized appreciated a fast repair, clear communication, and a straightforward explanation of the cost.

There have also been accounts of lengthy waits during busy periods and less helpful service interactions, illustrating how the experience can vary depending on workload. The branch nevertheless brings sales and repairs together in an accessible commercial area used by both commuters and recreational riders. For someone who depends on a bike or e-bike for a regular trip across Palo Alto, having a physical shop for adjustments, repairs, and ongoing ownership questions is a practical advantage.
