Mike's Bikes - San Jose

Mike's Bikes brings its retail-and-service model to San Jose's Willow Glen neighborhood from a storefront on Lincoln Avenue. The shop works with riders considering a new bicycle or e-bike and those who already have a bike that needs an adjustment, repair, or more involved workshop visit.

E-bikes are part of the inventory, with opportunities to test different models before buying. Staff help with fitting and selection, while mechanics handle electric-bike and traditional bicycle repairs. Customers have appreciated clear explanations of repair charges and communication about work in progress. The chain also offers a five-year pro service plan connected with bike purchases at the location.

Some visitors have reported less welcoming interactions or difficulties following up on maintenance arrangements, so the experience can depend on the circumstances. Others have found the sales guidance and mechanical help straightforward and useful. For Willow Glen cyclists, this branch offers a convenient combination of local test rides, bicycle retail, and ongoing service, with e-bike support integrated into the regular workshop rather than separated into a different store.
