MobilityWorks

MobilityWorks serves the East Hartford area from a Pitkin Street location specializing in wheelchair-accessible vehicles and equipment that makes travel easier. A BraunAbility dealer, the business offers accessible vans, vehicle lifts, and products designed to accommodate wheelchairs and mobility scooters. The East Hartford operation also incorporates the former Ride-Away business, which now forms part of the same location.

The showroom's focus is different from a typical scooter or motorcycle dealership. Customers may be looking for a vehicle that can carry a power wheelchair, a lift for transporting a scooter, or another adaptation to make daily journeys possible. The service department is oriented toward accessible vehicles and their equipment, backed by a nationwide mobility organization.

Mobility scooters are among the products associated with the location, but the documented repair specialty concerns vehicles and adaptations rather than scooter maintenance. For someone arranging transportation around a mobility device, this distinction is important: the right lift or accessible van can be as consequential as the device itself. MobilityWorks combines product selection, transportation adaptations, and vehicle-service resources for Hartford-area customers managing personal mobility needs.
