MobilityWorks — Plainfield

MobilityWorks in Plainfield combines wheelchair-accessible van sales, vehicle rentals, service, and selected home-accessibility work. Families describe using rental vans for medical appointments, special occasions, and travel when an accessible vehicle is needed temporarily. The business also helps people choose longer-term transportation and access solutions.

Kathy Gurgel is repeatedly mentioned for helping renters arrange the practical details. Customer stories include a van rented for a funeral, a family birthday outing, and transportation to a doctor's appointment. These different situations show how rental flexibility can matter to people who cannot use an ordinary vehicle easily.

The purchase and installation sides appear too. Salesman Bill Kocisky is credited with helping a family find a wheelchair van within its budget, while Colin is mentioned for explaining equipment problems and assembling a home ramp. Darrell appears in maintenance accounts, and Ruben V. is remembered for helping with a transfer-seat issue.

Service can involve specialized equipment and coordination across several teams. For Plainfield-area customers, the documented mix of accessible vehicle purchases, short-term rentals, maintenance, and home ramps is the essential service picture.
