Montgomery Cyclery - Montgomery

Montgomery Cyclery's namesake store on Montgomery Road is built around the simple idea that buying a bicycle and keeping it running should be equally straightforward. The shop carries bicycles, accessories, tires, tubes, and carriers, with a service department that handles everything from quick adjustments to more involved maintenance.

Customer accounts illustrate how the staff approach a problem. A Cannondale Quick 3 step-through was specially ordered and arrived within days, while another rider's mechanical issue was solved in minutes. There is also free air available to passing cyclists, a small touch that suits a neighborhood bike shop.

For bigger repairs, returning customers appreciate being called before work exceeds an estimate. The team receives praise for patient advice, product knowledge, and helping match bikes to riders' different abilities and purposes. Prices can run higher than at some other stores, reflecting the brands and equipment stocked.

Located in Montgomery's commercial corridor, the branch offers a familiar place for local riders to arrange service, find replacement parts, or choose a new bicycle. Its focus remains conventional cycling and related gear, with a particularly strong reputation for thoughtful follow-through at the service counter.
