Motor West Inc

Anyone restoring a vintage Puch moped or classic BMW motorcycle knows that finding the right part can be half the project. Motor West in Milwaukee specializes in that search. Its Senator Avenue shop maintains a substantial inventory of replacement components for older BMW motorcycles, Puch machines, and Allstate mopeds and scooters, including parts for Puch 175 and 250 models.

Not everything the business carries appears in its online catalog, so personal assistance remains an important part of ordering. Owner Matt and staff member Jenny help customers identify components by phone, email, or online request. Restoration enthusiasts describe knowledgeable advice during different stages of a project, along with prompt shipping and a practical approach when an ordered item turns out to be unsuitable.

Motor West’s role is different from that of a modern scooter showroom. It serves riders and restorers trying to preserve older machines, where compatibility and access to scarce parts matter more than the newest model year. Customers planning to visit are encouraged to call ahead. For a stalled Puch or BMW restoration, the Milwaukee business offers both a parts inventory and the experience needed to navigate it.
