Mr Wheelchair

Mr Wheelchair offers a substantial selection of home medical and mobility equipment from its Jefferson Highway showroom in New Orleans. The locally owned business has more than two decades of experience and carries mobility scooters, manual and powered wheelchairs, knee walkers, and lift chairs. Customers can explore equipment in person rather than relying entirely on photographs or product specifications.

Rentals are an important part of the operation, particularly for visitors who need mobility help during a trip. Mr Wheelchair offers hotel delivery in the New Orleans area, removing the need to transport a scooter or wheelchair from home. One customer described a rental scooter arriving at the hotel as promised and working smoothly throughout the stay. Staff also help customers consider equipment size, intended use, and practical transportation needs.

The showroom sits near Causeway Boulevard, across from Ochsner Hospital, and serves both local families and people visiting the city. Someone preparing for a temporary recovery period can approach the business differently from a customer buying a device for regular daily use. By pairing a broad inventory with rentals and delivery, Mr Wheelchair makes powered and manual mobility equipment accessible through several arrangements.
