Murdock's Bicycles & Sports

Murdock's Bicycles & Sports operates at 177 West 1st Street in downtown Oswego, supplying bicycles, accessories, and service to local riders. Owner Greg is closely associated with the shop's hands-on approach. Electric bicycles are among the machines its repair department works on, including certain e-bikes purchased through online retailers. The store also carries clothing and equipment for other outdoor activities.

Customers describe straightforward advice, attention to their specific repair problems, and a willingness to order a bicycle or part that is not already in stock. Several accounts mention quick repair turnaround, including work completed during a visit. Mechanical maintenance and adjustments form a major part of the operation, making the store useful to riders who already own a bike as well as those buying one. As with any electrically assisted model, it is worth asking whether the workshop supports its battery and drive system.

The recorded schedule is 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, with Sunday closed. Reach the West 1st Street shop at (315) 342-6848 or murdockssports.com. The business is chiefly a bicycle retailer and repair center, with e-bike service among its offerings.
