National Seating & Mobility

National Seating & Mobility's Columbia office on North Main Street focuses on customized mobility equipment for people with medical and functional needs. The branch works with clients across age groups, offering complex rehabilitation wheelchairs, power chairs, and related seating systems. Scooters in this setting are assistive mobility devices, not street-going motor scooters.

Assistive technology professionals coordinate with medical teams and families to identify positioning, movement, and everyday-use requirements. Evaluations may involve in-person fittings or remote appointments. Products and services include cushions, wheelchair seating, manual and powered chairs, patient lifts, and selected walking aids. Delivery and repair support help keep equipment useful after it has been prescribed and fitted.

The Columbia branch participates as a Medicare durable medical equipment supplier, making authorization and documentation important questions to address before ordering. Its published schedule centers on weekday office hours. People comparing mobility solutions can contact the location about eligibility, assessment scheduling, and service arrangements. The emphasis here is clinical seating and rehabilitation support, rather than walk-in electric-bike retail or leisure scooter repair.
