National Seating & Mobility

National Seating & Mobility's Grand Rapids branch supports people whose everyday mobility depends on equipment fitted to individual needs. Located on Madison Avenue SE, the office is part of a national organization specializing in complex rehabilitation technology. Its work includes customized powered and manual wheelchairs, seating and positioning systems, and accessibility products such as ramps and stairlifts.

Selecting the right equipment can involve more than a standard retail purchase. The company's approach brings together clinical input, assistive technology specialists, and technicians to address how a chair fits and functions for a particular person. Follow-up adjustments are part of that process, and the Grand Rapids location offers appointments for equipment servicing and repairs. Some issues may be resolved during a single visit, depending on the problem and required parts.

The branch is relevant to wheelchair and medical mobility scooter users rather than buyers of recreational two-wheel scooters. Its purpose is long-term mobility support, from seating decisions through later mechanical attention. Customers should coordinate with the office regarding their device, assessment needs, and available repair appointments.
