REI Bike Shop

REI's Pittsburgh Bike Shop sits inside the cooperative's South Side outdoor store, giving cyclists access to service and electric-bike options alongside hiking, camping and other outdoor equipment. The bicycle range includes REI Co-op Cycles models, with electric offerings such as the CTY e2.2 and DRT e3.1 appearing among its products.

Trained shop staff perform bicycle maintenance and repairs, so the department is more than a place to collect an assembled bike. The business has also advertised a year of complimentary adjustments with an e-bike purchase, a useful benefit during the period when a new bicycle's fit and components may need attention. Specific purchase terms should be checked when shopping.

The South Side setting makes this location convenient for riders heading toward Pittsburgh's riverfront paths and city bike routes. The larger co-op model also provides membership programs and established retail policies, with the bike department operating as part of that broader outdoor-store experience.

Located at 412 South 27th Street, the REI Bike Shop suits customers who want a recognized outdoor retailer and a working bicycle service bench in one place. Its electric lineup is centered on pedal-assist bikes rather than recreational motor scooters.
