REI - Richmond-Short Pump

REI's Richmond–Short Pump store brings cycling services into the wider world of outdoor recreation. Located in Glen Allen's West Broad Village shopping center, the co-op sells clothing, hiking equipment, camping supplies, and bicycles, including electric models from Co-op Cycles. Its on-site bike shop gives riders a place to arrange repairs and maintenance without visiting a separate cycling retailer.

Trained technicians support bicycle owners with mechanical work and routine upkeep, while the retail floor carries tires, tubes, and other riding accessories. Co-op members can also receive bike-shop service benefits, including discounts and assistance with flat repairs. Customers mention helpful staff, a broad selection of gear, and an easy shopping experience. The store can accommodate bicycles ordered for pickup, connecting online product choice with in-person collection and service.

For Richmond-area riders who also enjoy camping or hiking, this location is a practical one-stop option. A customer can compare an electric bicycle, arrange a tune-up, and shop for the next outdoor trip in one visit. The Short Pump REI is an outdoor retailer first, but its bicycle department provides useful sales and workshop support for cyclists across the western suburbs.
