Samcycle Electric Bikes

Samcycle Electric Bikes in Palatine combines e-bike sales with workshop repairs, assembly, accessories, and rentals. Owner Tom Sammons and staff members Matt and Kevin appear throughout the original customer accounts, reflecting a shop where visitors often remember the people who helped them.

The sales side includes Lectric, Blix, and Surface604 Rook models. Riders also describe service for bicycles bought online or from other sellers, including assembly work and replacing a fork after a crash. Tire, tube, and brake adjustments are among the more routine jobs handled in the workshop.

Several customers recall repairs completed more quickly than expected. One account mentions tires, tubes, and brakes finished within hours of a morning drop-off; another describes a small brake adjustment performed right outside the shop. Matt is associated with explaining choices and making minor corrections without pushing unnecessary additions.

Samcycle also rents e-bikes for riding around the Palatine area, including nearby Deer Grove. One customer describes Tom personally investigating an accidental double charge from a card reader, a useful example of the direct involvement that helps distinguish this suburban operation.
