Scooter Mercato

Scooter Mercato in Norcross concentrates on parts for classic and vintage Vespa scooters. Rather than presenting itself as a broad motorcycle dealership, the business serves owners and restorers trying to keep older Italian machines running and looking right, sometimes with components that are difficult to source locally.

David, also called Dave in the original accounts, is frequently mentioned for his technical knowledge. Matt is another name associated with the operation. Customers recount receiving patient troubleshooting help for projects involving a 1970s Vespa Sprint and a 1958 Vespa acquired at a swap meet. Those stories highlight the appeal of dealing with people familiar with older scooter designs.

The parts operation also serves customers beyond the Atlanta area. Accounts mention careful packaging, prompt shipping, and a scooter seat reaching South Carolina in two days. One longtime customer describes ordering from the business since 2014, while another recalls help sourcing components through German suppliers and reducing the burden of overseas shipping.

For vintage Vespa owners, Scooter Mercato's distinction is its narrow specialty: difficult-to-find parts paired with restoration-oriented advice. The source supports parts sourcing and technical guidance, not a guaranteed in-house mechanical restoration service.
