Shift Cyclery & Coffee Bar

Shift Cyclery & Coffee Bar has made cycling and coffee part of the same downtown Eau Claire visit. Its Graham Avenue storefront offers a full-service bicycle shop alongside an espresso counter, creating a convenient meeting place before riders head out toward the Chippewa River State Trail or other city routes. Electric-assist bicycles are part of the cycling selection.

Customers can bring in an existing bike for mechanical work, from flats to tire service on an e-bike, or stop for a drink while planning a ride. The mix attracts commuters, trail users and people who simply want coffee. Repairs can be arranged through the shop's online presence or by phone, and the staff serves cyclists who need everyday maintenance rather than a full new-bike purchase.

The coffee bar opens early compared with many cycle stores, so morning visitors can gather before a group ride. Shift operates most days of the week except Monday. Its focus is bicycle ownership and the local riding community, not gas scooters or stand-up e-scooter repair. The combination of a practical workshop and welcoming café gives this location a distinctive role downtown.
