South Plains Cycles

South Plains Cycles is a family-operated bicycle shop in Lubbock carrying Trek bicycles and electric models alongside conventional road, mountain, and hybrid bikes. Its selection serves people considering pedal-assist commuting as well as those buying bikes for exercise or recreation. Customers can arrange test rides to assess frame fit and compare the riding experience before choosing an electric bicycle.

The service department is an important part of the operation. The available information describes routine bicycle maintenance, tire and brake work, drivetrain repairs, and diagnostics on supported e-bike systems. Parts, cycling apparel, and accessories add to the shop's retail offering. Greg and Sam are mentioned by customers for explaining options and discussing repairs without rushing the decision. Trek dealership support is also described, although work on a particular motor, controller, or battery should be confirmed in advance.

South Plains Cycles serves riders from Lubbock and nearby West Texas communities, including students and everyday commuters. It is an e-bike and bicycle business, not a documented motor-scooter repair facility. Anyone bringing in an electric model from another manufacturer should contact the service desk to verify compatibility and current appointment availability.
