Storrs Center Cycle

Close to the University of Connecticut campus, Storrs Center Cycle is an independent family-run bike shop serving students and local riders from Storrs Road in Mansfield. Its bicycle selection includes Jamis, Santa Cruz, Knolly, and Cannondale electric models, giving customers options across everyday riding and more specialized off-road use.

The mechanical side is a significant part of the business. The team handles disc brakes, suspension tuning, custom wheel builds, and general bicycle repairs in-house rather than sending all specialized jobs elsewhere. Owner Aaron is frequently mentioned for straightforward advice, mechanical knowledge, and reasonable charges. Customers also value the shop's ability to order a model that is not currently on the floor and return a repaired bike promptly.

For UConn students who rely on a bicycle around campus, that dependable workshop can be as important as a new-bike selection. Mountain bikers and e-bike owners can also find help with more involved equipment needs. Storrs Center Cycle combines a small-shop relationship with practical technical depth, supporting riders who want to buy, maintain, or modify a bike without travelling far from the Storrs area.
