Summit Bike & Ski

Summit Bike & Ski is a Bozeman neighborhood shop serving both cycling and winter-sports customers from Grand Avenue. Electric bicycles have appeared in its listed selection alongside fat bikes and conventional models. The business provides bicycle work as well as ski fitting and service, attracting people who want practical advice from specialists familiar with outdoor equipment.

Staff members Steve and Lee have been associated with patient, unhurried assistance. One skier received last-minute binding installation for a trip, while cyclists have described help sourcing unusual replacement parts and adjusting older machines. Long-term relationships are part of the shop’s character, including a customer who continued returning for years after buying a fat bike. The retail experience is shaped by people willing to talk through unusual requests rather than treat each visit as a quick transaction.

Summit operates on weekdays and Saturdays, although published Monday hours are inconsistent. Its electric-bike selection is worth checking with staff before a visit, because the models currently stocked may differ from earlier advertised options. The shop focuses on bicycles rather than motor scooters, and specialized e-bike electronics work should not be assumed without asking.
