Swope Motorsports

Swope Motorsports brings Vespa and Piaggio scooters to downtown Louisville, offering Italian-style two-wheel transportation within a dealership built for serious mechanical work. Located on East Jefferson Street, the business occupies a sizable facility with scooter sales, riding accessories, parts, and a dedicated service department. It continues the operation previously known as Commonwealth Motorcycles, maintaining its connection to Louisville riders under the Swope name.

The workshop has resources beyond those of a small retail counter. Its service area includes multiple lifts, a dynamometer room, and an in-house machine shop, supporting everything from regular scooter maintenance to more involved mechanical jobs and customization. Experienced technicians work with owners seeking to keep their machines in good condition or discuss performance-related questions. That technical depth complements the showroom's Vespa and Piaggio selection.

Swope serves customers across the Louisville metro and nearby southern Indiana, bringing brand-specific sales and support together at one downtown address. Its combination of distinctive scooter models, parts access, and workshop equipment appeals to riders who want local expertise after purchase. The dealership connects the style of Italian scooters with practical mechanical services for everyday ownership.
