The Bike Lane Bicycle Shop

The Bike Lane Bicycle Shop in Reston, Virginia, combines bicycle sales, repairs, rentals, and a notably active cycling-community program. This family-owned shop has a strong mountain-bike emphasis but also handles other riding styles, including electric bicycles.

Its brands include Trek, Felt, Electra, Niner, and Surly, with accessories supporting a wide range of uses. Rentals have included road, hybrid, mountain, gravel, and electric bikes, as well as equipment such as wheelsets and travel cases. The shop’s mechanical services and fitting support help owners maintain bicycles and choose appropriate setups.

An on-site brewery and coffee bar make The Bike Lane more than a conventional retail counter. Customers often describe the social atmosphere alongside the technical expertise of the staff.

Located on Sunset Hills Road near Lake Fairfax Park, the shop is convenient for Reston-area trail riders and recreational cyclists. Its combination of mountain-bike knowledge, rentals, workshops, and gathering spaces gives the business a distinctive community-focused identity.
