The Skate Shop

The Skate Shop is part of the action-sports setting at Mike's Bike Park on East First Street in Dayton. Rather than operating as a traditional road-going motor scooter dealership, the shop combines skating and scooter interests with a venue used by bicycle, skateboard and scooter riders. The broader business also has a bicycle retail and service side.

Electric kick scooters are relevant here: the shop offers Levy Original and Levy Plus models. The bicycle selection includes BMX, mountain and electric bikes, with Velotric named among its e-bike offerings. Indoor riding facilities provide an additional reason for local riders to visit, separate from making a purchase. Questions about electric scooter repairs should be directed to the shop rather than inferred from its general bicycle service activity.

The East First Street location advertises extended daily hours, including evenings. Before making a trip, check whether the particular scooter model is available and what equipment is permitted inside the riding park. Shoppers can also ask about helmets, protective gear and any park rules that apply to powered devices.
