The Stairlift Store

The Stairlift Store is a family-run accessibility business associated with sisters Debbie and Peggy and a history dating to 1998. It serves customers in the Houston area through in-home consultations and installation rather than relying on a walk-in Houston storefront. The description also identifies a showroom in Rockport, Texas.

Bruno stairlifts and chairlifts are a core part of the operation, alongside ramps, elevators, and mobility scooters. Home visits help the team assess stairs and other spaces before selecting equipment, while installation includes demonstrations and safety guidance for people learning to operate a new lift.

Customers describe continued service after a purchase, including adjustments, telephone troubleshooting, and warranty-related repair arrangements. Some report using the same stairlift for many years. These are individual experiences, not a blanket warranty or guarantee about the life of every unit.

For Houston-area families planning how to make a home more accessible, The Stairlift Store combines a mobile consultation model with equipment installation and support. Its business focus is home accessibility, with mobility scooters included among the products described.
