Trek Bicycle Cambridge

Trek Bicycle Cambridge is a Trek and Bontrager store on Alewife Brook Parkway, close to the Minuteman Bikeway. The showroom carries road, city, mountain, and electric bicycles, while the service department accepts repairs and tune-ups on bikes from other brands as well as Trek.

Customers describe help with everyday adjustments and larger mechanical jobs. Mechanic Eric appears in accounts of a drivetrain and brake rebuild on an older Trek 7100, along with work on bicycles used for long-distance touring. Another rider recalls a shifting problem corrected after a previous tune-up without an additional charge.

Staff also assist with model comparisons and purchasing decisions, including guidance for people buying their first bicycle. The range of repairs and the availability of conventional and electric bikes give the location a role beyond a single brand's sales floor.

For Cambridge riders, the shop combines Trek retail with a broadly accessible workshop near a major cycling route. Its ability to service other bicycle brands makes it useful to customers who already own a bike and need maintenance rather than a new purchase.
