Vespa Clearwater

Vespa Clearwater at 614 S Missouri Avenue has sold and serviced Vespa, Piaggio, Genuine, and Royal Alloy scooters since 1979, operating as a family-owned dealership where staff describe scooters as all they know and ride.

The sales floor carries new and pre-owned machines, the in-house shop covers maintenance and repairs, and the accessories department stocks riding gear and add-ons. Customers repeatedly single out Matt, the salesman and parts specialist, for patient guidance on model choice and for tracking down hard-to-find components such as a carburetor for a 2004 Vespa.

His father earns mention for same-day accessory installation, including grips fitted the day a scooter was purchased. Shoppers moving up from cheaper import scooters say staff walked them through the trade-offs between displacement and quality without pressure.

One detailed complaint about a scratched rear rim during a tire change and a dispute over a defective tire stands in customer accounts against the broader pattern of attentive sales and parts help.
