Viking Ski N' Cycle

Viking Ski N' Cycle has served the Plattsburgh area since the 1960s, combining bicycle retail and repair with a substantial winter-sports department. Its State Route 3 location carries conventional bicycles and electric mountain-bike models alongside skis, snowboards, snowshoes, and seasonal rental equipment. It is not a specialized motor-scooter dealership.

The bicycle workshop handles maintenance, tune-ups, and wheel work, while winter customers can seek ski and snowboard help. Bicycle brands described in its inventory include Giant, Felt, and Kona. The store invites interested buyers to try electric mountain bikes before purchasing and serves cyclists ranging from newcomers to long-distance riders. Mechanic Tim Brennan is singled out in customer accounts for detailed wheel-building and repair advice.

One reported interaction indicates that the shop did not accept a particular throttle-equipped e-bike for service, so compatibility should be confirmed before bringing in an electric model. Other customers describe fast flat-tire repairs and fair pricing. Riders can discuss their bicycle's drive configuration directly with the staff. The published source supports sales of certain electric bicycles but not a promise to repair every throttle or scooter system.
