Newsletter Privacy Notice

If you choose to subscribe to the TheScooterist newsletter, we store the email address you provide, when you requested to subscribe, whether you confirmed, and any later unsubscribe time. We use this information to manage your subscription and prevent sending newsletters without permission.

We send a confirmation email first. Until you confirm, you are not an active subscriber. Each future marketing email must include an unsubscribe link. If you unsubscribe, we retain the address and unsubscribe status to respect your choice.

The subscriber list is available to the website owner through an authenticated admin area and can be exported to an email service for authorized newsletter delivery. The current website does not send marketing campaigns.

This is a notice limited to newsletter signup; it is not a complete privacy policy for the directory or its other features. For questions, use the contact form.
