Providence Bicycle

Providence Bicycle occupies a distinctive historic building on Branch Avenue, with a showroom that brings together bicycles, electric models, and an extensive selection of parts. The store also publishes guidance on electric bikes and Rhode Island’s e-bike rebate program, giving prospective buyers a way to understand the technology and available incentives before they visit.

Its service department handles more than basic tune-ups. Customer accounts describe work on e-bike displays, hydraulic brake upgrades, and tube and tire replacements, along with occasional attention to a powerful electric scooter. Riders appreciate mechanics who explain what needs doing and offer practical solutions; same-day turnaround and a complimentary bike-rack installation are among the examples associated with the shop.

That range makes Providence Bicycle useful to owners who want to maintain an existing electric bike as well as shoppers researching a new one. The parts selection can help with smaller repairs and upgrades, while the workshop provides hands-on assistance when a job goes beyond a home fix. It remains a bicycle-focused retailer and service business, with documented e-bike experience rather than a dedicated scooter-only operation.
