REI Sunnyvale Bike Shop

REI's Sunnyvale Bike Shop provides repair and maintenance services inside the co-op's East El Camino Real store. It serves people riding traditional bicycles and e-bikes, offering a convenient stop for tune-ups and parts while shopping for outdoor equipment.

The workshop can handle flat tires, wheel truing, derailleur work, and broader bicycle adjustments. Electric-bike services include tune packages and applicable firmware diagnostics or updates, giving owners access to support beyond ordinary mechanical components. Customers can request an inspection and estimate before arranging work, and co-op members are eligible for a discount on bike-shop services. Helmets, clothing, and cycling accessories are sold alongside bicycles in the main store.

Visitors describe the wider location as organized, with staff who help explain equipment choices. The bike counter has earned praise for looking after customers, although one rider reported a tire going flat soon after repair. As part of a larger outdoor retailer, the Sunnyvale workshop offers practical help for regular bicycle maintenance while retaining access to a wide range of commuting and recreation gear.
