Riverside Cycling

Riverside Cycling serves Richmond riders from a convenient Manchester location near the trailhead. Founded in 2019 by Max, the independent shop offers bicycle rentals, repairs, and sales of both new and refurbished models. Electric bikes are part of the mix, alongside conventional bicycles from brands such as Jamis, Diamondback, iZip, Surly, Redline, and All-City.

The repair department has earned attention for helping customers get back on the road quickly. One rider received a message that a dropped-off bike was ready the following day, while another had an electric-bike tire changed shortly before closing after struggling to find help elsewhere. Staff are also known for straightforward troubleshooting and useful explanations. On the rental side, customers describe well-maintained bikes and friendly assistance, with Matt among the team members mentioned for his service.

The shop's combination of rentals and workshop support makes it useful to visitors exploring Richmond as well as residents caring for their own bicycles. Mountain-bike options and coaching for newer riders broaden its appeal. Riverside Cycling offers a neighborhood-scale place to rent an e-bike, arrange a mechanical fix, or explore a refurbished ride near the city's trail network.
