Urban Cycles

Urban Cycles, part of Urban AdvenTours, brings bicycle retail, rentals, tours, and workshop services together on Atlantic Avenue in downtown Boston. The business serves residents using bikes for everyday transportation as well as visitors interested in exploring the city on two wheels.

Its retail selection includes new bicycles from brands such as Giant, Specialized, Kona, Scott, and Biria, along with used bikes and riding accessories. Rentals are available for short visits or longer periods, and guided tours cover routes around Boston and Cambridge.

The service counter handles maintenance and repairs, with customers describing an organized storefront and well-kept rental bikes. One rider recalls assistance with an urgent tube replacement. Accessories such as fenders, panniers, lights, and racks make the shop useful to commuters as well as tourists.

Operating in this form since 2004, Urban Cycles combines practical bike ownership support with a way to experience the city through rentals and tours. Its downtown location makes those different services accessible to people staying nearby or passing through on regular rides.
